En lille film-anbefaling her fra mig af. Jeg The Ride i går på Netflix. Instrueret og produceret af Helen Hunt. En dygtig skuespiller. Filmen overraskede mig ved at være rigtig god og underholdende. Den handler om at miste, give slip, om at komme videre og om at vælge sit eget liv hvad end det så indebærer. Nå ja, og så handler den om at lære at surfe. The Ride foregår i to vidt forskellige amerikanske byer: New York og Los Angeles. Det gør heller ikke filmen dårligere.

Det eneste jeg ærgrede mig over i denne film var at se Helen Hunts alt for plastikopererede ansigt. Det er virkelig en skam. Hun var så smuk og naturlig. Jeg synes, at det er en god ting at et ansigt afspejler levet liv.

Jeg håber at du vil nyde filmen ligesom jeg gjorde.

Yesterday I watched The Ride on Netflix.

A movie directed and produced by Helen Hunt.

It surprised me by being really good and heartfelt.

It's about loosing, letting go, moving on and about the life we chose to live. Oh and about surfing.

It takes place in New York and Los Angeles. Two very different, but also very lovely places.

I have chosen not to show you the trailer since I think it spoils the movie by showing way too much of the movie. So my suggestion is: just watch it. Enjoyed it, and i hope you will too.

Oh btw; the only thing that really disappointed me in this movie was the fact that Helen Hunt (such a talented and natural beauty) was almost unrecognizable due to plastic surgery. I think it's a shame. For her and the film industry. It's OK to see a life lived in a woman's face... at least if you ask me.
